OK, here is where all members of the board can participate in suggesting which boards should be deleted or created!
As you can see, I've cut down the main boards by a lot on the main page. Most of them I have merged together with "main" boards that I felt would be appropriate for it's topic. I feel we can cut back on some more to stop from scrolling and also make the forum look cleaner and more inviting to new members!
So my question for you all: which boards do you think we need to delete and ones we need to create and/or put sub-boards in?
Right now, my eyes are heavily on the "Fanworks" section...it's the only category in the forum not that popular. Should we hack it, or re-word it better?

I think you've done well so far, feels better organize. I'd take out two boards out personally though...
Under Video Games section, I'd take out the "Other Games" board, don't really see much purpose for it. I say get rid of it or at least move it under game consoles. Maybe rename "Game Consoles" to just Video Games =D
Fanworks section, I don't think I'm ever gonna use it but I can see others that might. I say wait a little bit to see if some ppl post in it. If time goes by and nobody uses it then I guess its safe enough to hack it. For now though you might as well get rid of the "Need Help?" board since we already have the "Having Problems?" board for questions and all that...

Ok, great idea! As for the "need help" board under fanworks, it was strictly for help with writing and that sort of things, while the "having problems" board was for issues that were forum related, but I can always put that "need help" board away as a sub-board to the fanfiction section!

Ok, I'm ready and know what I'm going to do to change this forum so that the anime is not the main topic anymore!
First, I'm going to add the categories General Discussion and Interactive. Under these categories will go the general chat board, video games, and made in Japan boards. The anime and manga boards will be place in the made in Japan board as sub-boards. Under the interactive category, I will be placing the forum games and the "fanworks" section there.
So far that's the idea and I hope it will make it less anime-esque

Ah I see what you're doing...still keeping the anime thing but just hiding it behind the board so that it doesn't show up on the front page huh? Yep you've read my mind lol. Would video games be under interactive or just by itself like it is right now?

I was debating what to do with that board, but was going to just leave it as a board under general discussion, as the interactive category has boards that you can interact with more...video games is just a discussion board.
Do you think I should take out the sub-boards under "General Chat" and make them boards on the main forum?

Sounds good. I think it would make sense if you break "General Chat" apart like you said...I think you would overflow it if you just had that board with a bunch of sub-boards in there can seem kinda messy no?

Yes and no...hehe. I didn't want to make the board have a million and one boards on the main page like last time...makes the first impression look messy. But, it does make sense, so I'll see what I can do.
Sorry for the delay...I've been pretty sick these past weeks and then my sister with her brady bunch family came down for vacation so my house has been in total chaos! >_<
